What is my cost of attendance?
The estimated Cost of Attendance is an estimated amount of what a year at Georgia Southern might cost including estimates for transportation costs, room and board, and personal costs. Those are not direct charges – you are not being billed those things. The Cost of Attendance includes those items in order to allow students to have ample room for the many types of aid they may receive. The items included in the cost of attendance are not charges, they are estimations of what it may cost a student to attend Georgia Southern for a full academic year. The amounts included in those estimates are based on the cost of living in the area around campus. Once the Bursar’s Office begins processing student bills for the term in question, you will see a more accurate representation of what your charges are for that term. You may look here to find a more specific amount that you might be charged for tuition and fees. The Bursar’s Office will formulate a billing statement that is specific to each student鈥檚 registration and enrollment status. If you have already been issued your statement, you should be able to view your invoice and authorized aid by logging into your account. Navigate to the WINGS tab and click 鈥淪tudent Information鈥. From there click on 鈥淎ccount Summary鈥 under the Student Accounts tab and select the term for which you would like to view. If you would like to speak with them for a breakdown of these charges, they can be reached by email at bursar@georgiasouthern.edu
